Welcome to RefRight Academy’s brand new website!

This site and the officiating academy it represents has been a personal goal and intention of mine for a number of years, and it’s finally come to fruition. It was only through a lot of work, making contacts, getting feedback, and encouragement from my colleagues, that this even became possible.

You can get a much more detail about RefRight in the About Us menu, so I won’t go into a bunch of details about that here. What is important is that my goal is to recruit, train, education, and help retain as many officials as I can for as long as I can. Having spent 20+ years now actively officiating, I felt like the next step in my career was to really start focusing on this, because lets be honest, father time doesn’t ever slow down. There will come a day when I can’t be out on the mat 4,5,6 days a week and still be at the top of my game. This avenue gives me a way to be a positive contributor to the sport I love so much.

For now though, check out the site, and feel free to contact me about anything related to the content here as well as any other comments, suggestions, etc. I will try to post these news posts as often as needed, the rest of the information will either already be on the site, or on our YouTube channel, and that will happen dynamically as it occurs.

The main way we want to get officials started is by putting on officiating clinics anywhere in the state that we can and have enough interest to do. As of now there is one scheduled on Saturday June 29th which you can find on the Events slider on the home page or at the Events page. People wishing to attend these clinics will be able to register for them right on this site and lock in their spot.

There is quite a bit of neat stuff that is going to be happening with this in the coming months and over the next year so stay tuned.
